Anemone help

What is my anemone doing? Splitting? Or dying? Has white stringy stuff coming off it and it's like shrunk where the string is.. Any help is appreciated

Where are the strings coming from?

Could it be pooping? how long have you had it?

I ask where because I had a BTA that had white stringy discharge out of the tips of the tentacles. I asked for help on RC because I had never seen/heard of anything like that before. It was much different than the normal stringy poop that we see. The tentacles that had it where deflated and shriveled up. You can see the white mass of this "discharge" in the middle of the BTA, after about a week it cleared up on its own. Still have no idea what it was.

That's exactly it, coming off the tentacles. I've had it for about 2 weeks now and it has recovered since I posted on the forums, idk what it was but the anemone looks fine now

My only guess is some kind of infection..Glad to hear it also recovered on its own. Sorry I cant offer a better answer
