I'm not really sure what is going on. I came in today from the weekend and my anemone is pulled in on itself. At first I thought it was eating something but it appears to be damaged tissue. I haven't fed it anything since Thursday. Should I do anything or just wait it out and see what happens?

Give it a day or so, Anemone tend to do some strange thing sometimes:)

If those are his mesenterial filaments I am seeing, then he may be on his way out/ in need of treatment. Has he deflated at all for long amounts of time especially during the day? How long have you had him for?

He was deflated all day. He was doing fantastic. I've had him close to a year. It's weird because all my levels are good and everything else in the tank looks great.

I'm not sure if they are the filaments but it looks like a piece of meat but it is actually tissue of some sort.

It looks a lot better today. The red arrow is pointing to the fleshy looking part. I really don't have anything in the tank that would do something like that. Could it be the clown that is hoisting it or is that some sort of infection?

Maybe its getting ready to split if you've had it for a year and your water parameters are good?
