here's my cichlid tank if anyone is interested in looking

Here is mine. The flower horn use to be blue and black when we got it, very pretty. Now it's white and black. No where near the color :/ I should probably ask what they were feeding it. It's been a cichlid tank for 6 months now.

Nice I've had mine running for about 2 years I just got the smaller ones like a month ago but the bigger ones I've had for a while

I think the oscar is my wife's favorite. I kept trying to convert this tank into a saltwater but she wouldn't let me. Hehe but she let me get another tank so we're still in business! :D

Originally we started the cichlid tank because our community fish tank (1 year old before this started) was producing fish like crazy. We had so much fish!! They became deformed from inbreeding too. So we got the oscar to eat them all (bwhahaha).

P.s. This is the color of the other fish before he turned all white/black

Yea I want a larger tank for salt but I like the 30 g

It's a lot harder than fresh imo. Freshwater is a cakewalk. Saltwater you have to be on your toes. I'm super nervous about upgrading to a bigger tank (due to the costs) but I want to give it a shot.
