I got an anemone that’s about 1 inch. I’ve had him for about a month now. The anemone was sitting in the corner for a few weeks then decided to let go of the glass and ever since then hasn’t latched back down for more than 24 hours. It flips over and I try and flip it back but it doesn’t seem to be able to stick to anything. By sand bed is about 2-3” thick. So I don’t think it’s able to reach through the sand. Any suggestions on what to do here?

What type is it ?
Is the foot good ?

Not sure the type someone gave it to me. Here’s a pic of the foot the anemone looks a lot darker since it hasn’t had a spot to anchor to. It used to be all white

The foot looks good and if it was all white that means it’s bleached which is bad.

Good to know. Is there something I should do to keep it anchored? Put it in a bug till it gets bigger? Not really sure what to do

What do you have it in rn ? Looks like a bowl. It is constantly moving which means it isn’t happy

125G bunch of coral. I have a larger anemone that’s about 12-15 inches LTA it’s doing great. All my parameters are good. Temp is at 78°F am I forgetting anything?

I wouldn’t worry I rescued one from a garden centre exactly the same as yours and bleached, they sand anemones if they get too much flow mine tends to blown up and float around until it finds a better spot. Just try an find a low flow spot mate should do the trick

Looks like a very small LTA, it should want to be in sand.
Try to scoop an area near rockwork and might even want to cover w/ something like a strawberry basket if you need to keep from floating around or keep clowns away, it's too small to host right now.

Sounds good. When I got it it came with a maroon clown that had a gun missing and it was attached to the anemone. Then the clown found my Large LTA and the one I’m posting about rn been alone since. Here’s pic of my large LTA

This is pretty under that lighting, but I'd like to see it's true colors under natural daylight type lighting.

Well, hopefully that maroon does not find it's gun, they are mean plenty enough just using teeth!
When I feed my fangs seaweed strips he’s bit me a few times. Didn’t hurt just wasn’t expecting it.

I’ll take a picture in the morning when the anemone opens up

Hopefully the maroon will stay put in the bigger nem , they can destroy a nem that size as they can be quite rough with their host .. dig out the sand by some rock work in a slower flow area and place him there . Turn off the flow until he anchors down and see how you go. If flow is too high he may not be happy and move anyway... watch those powerheads if he insists on being tumbleweed
