Anemone help

Hi guys, had this Anemone 2 week now and sometimes he’s open and big and then some days like today he is like folded up, what is the cause of this or is it normal behaviour.

Pretty normal until they’re fully established. I’d be more concerned about color loss or not opening at all

How about details on your tank ie parameters and equipment and how long its been set up. Not to be debbie downer but it seems like nems need uber mature tanks. I don't think it is just a parameter issue but maybe a microflora issue regarding the maturity.

Also, it is hard to tell from the pictures but do you know what species it is?
