The Anemone seems to be doing better. Still a bit bleached but eating. At lights out it retreats a bit. When I turn the blues on it comes out and when I turn the whites on it really opens up.
I started with just the blues for a couple days. Gradually been increasing the time the white lights are on. I am up to about 4 hours now.

I'm thinking things are going to be ok.

How cool. Thanks for the update.
IMO a better acclimation is less intensity with a normal time schedule.
Keep us posted.
BTW I cant read so good so PICS!!:D
great find

I would love to be able to do less intensity but don't have that capability yet. Might think about an upgrade to the lighting to be able to accomplish that at a later point.

I will try to get some new pics before the weekend if I can

looks like its well on its way to recovery..... keep up the regular feedings (few times a week) , but definitely looks much improved from the first initial pictures (seems to be getting some pigment back). Not sure what you are feeding but I would suggest smaller food items that would require the anemone to expand less energy to digest. LRS would be awesome, as would enriched mysis or anything around that size. Others may chime in here, but I have always tried to stay away from things like silversides etc with bleached anemones as they seem to require so much energy to digest (i exclusively feed my RBTA's LRS reef frenzy foods). Keep it up !!

Currently I am feeding 3 days a week with frozen carnivorous marine food from San Francisco Bay Supply. I cut the cube into about an 1/8 of it's original size. It's generic stuff from PetSmart seems to be mostly mysis and brine shrimp. I know I can feed better and I plan to, but once I realized I needed some food I had to get something quick.
I want to get LRS Reef Frenzy but I can't. No one local to me sells it. I did contact them though and they will ship it but I have to make a pretty big minimum order. Which I plan to do. The stuff will probably last me quite a long time though, so I think it is justified. Just have to wait until after my taxes are done.
Thanks for the encouragement and advice. I really do appreciate it.
