Two days ago I bought a cleaner shrimp for my 20 gal. He has been wandering around and eating here and there so I think he's in good health. I read in lots of places that they like caves, but the one I bought seems to love hiding right in the open under my new GBTA. Is this normal behavior and is it anything I should worry about? PS- all the shells aren't from dead things I put them there because my hermits are evil and switch shells like crazy.

I don’t know but your shrimp is adorable! Actually, my cleaner gets into everything. As long as your shrimp is smart enough to not jump in the middle of the anemone, I’d say he’s fine.

They’ll stick next to nem for the chance to steal food from it
