Picked up a rock and this little guy was attached - I don't want to put him in my tank until I know what it is. It is about the size of a nickel to half dollar depending on mood, lol. Seems to like lower light, I think.

Thanks!

I was thinking the same thing- I just don't want to add it to either of my tanks if it is a pest anemone.

As long as you keep it in view it should be fine. You can always let it attach to a smaller rock in the hopes that it won't move from that spot and then place that in one of your tanks.

Cool, I'll give it a shot this afternoon. The tank I'll put it in should be easy to keep an eye on. It already attached to a small rock that I put in the container it is temporarily housed in.

Thanks for the response!

It looks like a horribly bleached BTA to me, it was probably lost in the tank at some point. It looks pretty far gone, I personally wouldn't risk adding it in but you can try. Just take it out if you see any signs of the tissues disconnecting.

Interesting you say that, I have been googling images and the only thing I could find that was close in appearance was a bleached BTA. I'll give it a shot and see what happens...
