Long tentacle? For one that size that's reasonable but still high price. Watch out, that mouth seems to be gaping and looks like its stretching for light. What kind of lighting do u have?

Nice looking LTA but if the LTA doesn't close its mouth tighter than it is in the pictures you might want to consider returning it if possible. In CA $65 might be a little high (unless it's a purple LTA) but nothing crazy. Hopefully you have strong enough light and clean water.

Not an outrageous price. I would be a little concerned about the gaping mouth. The anemone needs light.

There is plenty of light for this guy... I will wait a little see if he calms down it's only been 3 days.

Are you acclimating it to your lights? It is slightly bleached, and those lights could be a bit much for it right away. I would suggest putting 3 layers of window screening (( supported by egg crate )) b/t the lights and the tank.

M. doreensis are sandbed dwelling anemones, how deep is your sandbed?
What are your current water parameters -- with numbers please.
How much flow do you have? Are your powerheads covered?
