And here is what it looked like when I got it [emoji14]

Thanks!

Condylactus anemone, common in the Caribbean, almost never hosts clowns, had a potent sting to other corals, eats like crazy....any fish that comes in contact with it will become a meal.

Eats like crazy is definitely true! I feed it every day/other day and never has any issues eating aha. Thanks :)

Weird; I've had clarkii clowns host with them before, and their sting doesn't seem to effect me.

A friend of mine got gnarly tentacle-shaped welts when one touched her, though, so... [shrug]

I have found some people get really affected by nem stings, whereas some don't at all (you and I) weird

That is super odd! So far I have only had an itchy reaction when I had a cut on my hand, but I had been playing with about 3 different nem types so which one I have no idea [emoji14]

Condy for sure ... will get big and quickly if you feed it . I've got one in my mixed Nem tank and he's a monster ! My clowns are being hosted by a Mag , my bubbletips share a porcelain crab . Thankfully they all get along and have stayed put

Awesome, so far I have had it for 3 months and it has almost doubled in size! Love your tank, I am about to have a try at doing a nem tank, so this is really inspiring! Do you have a build thread?

Go for it , Nems are very cool ... sorry no build thread , just kinda keep adding ( as you do ) This tank is a standard Aqua One with A prizm deluxeHob skimmer I run carbon in the skimmer full time and have a nitrate filter pad regular sponge and ceramic media in the back compartments, also have A rhowaPhos sock in there too. Water change 1/3 every week , carbon changed every month Rhowa every 2 weeks .lighting is a maxspect Razr Nano 16000k runs 24/7 On presets with moon blue on thru the night . Here's the latest snapshot . Good luck with yours.

Considering how small my tank is , they all have a spot and kinda stay put . My Condy has really long tentacles when he lets them go , the nearest other Nem in his reach would be a BTA . They have touched on many occasion and they both seem to know there is company and they keep the tentacles shorter on the contact side . I've had no fatalities in the tank with all other corals co habitating and in close proximity . I would have thought the chemical warfare side of things may have had an effect on the rest of the tank mates but to date everyone fully extends and grows just fine ! I run carbon full time maybe that helps [emoji848] .
People will always say though to keep one type together if planning lots in a tank . This works for me and this is just my experiences . Hope this helps .
