Please can you specify the type of this anemone. I think it's Heteractis malu, but I'm not sure.
Thank you. :)

I can't tell you what species it is, but I'd be a little bit concerned that it is so white. Is it suppose to be photosynthetic?

I agree on the Heteractis malu. Auctually one of the few anemone that is supposed to be white. Its harder to judge health because of this but the nem should be opaque white not completely translucent and the tips should have a vibrant purple spot on them again not translucent. A happy healthy nem will look a cream color vs transparent and bleached. Its hard to tell the health of your individual from the photo but its a good sign that it has attached and opened up.
Good luck with it!!

I disagree. I think it's a Beaded anemone Heteractis Aurora. Click on Zdenek's picture to make it big, you can clearly see the beads/bumps on the tentacles.
Zdenek does it have a red foot?
Don't listen to others that tell you NOT to feed it. On youtube put in Bob Fenner anemone 2017 and watch the video(about half way thru he talks about feeding. He says to feed AT least 2 to 3 times a week for a health anemone. Listen to what he says about feeding a recent import right away and why.
I bought a small bleached Aurora 4 weeks ago. Been feeding it every day. It's start to turn brown(getting it's zooanthellae back) and is doing great.
Here's a crappy picture from 4 weeks ago of mine:

Thank you very much for the much information. The foot is yellow-orange. I'll try to feed more.
New import anemones, once semi-healthy, need to be feed to heal himself trom the traumatic trip around the world. Once they are healthy and not bleach, if they get adequate light and water condition, does not need to be feed unless you want it to get larger. I feed my anemone until they reach the size I want, then I stop feeding them. They grow much slower , if at al, with no feeding.
