Anemone in strange place

So I got an anemone this week and it’s been doing really well it hasn’t shriveled, tho it did split but it’s recovering. anything but it decided to place its foot and stay in a lower lighted area. Just a little concerned for it, not sure what to do.

It's not uncommon for newly split nems to retreat into lower light, lower flow areas to heal for a while. Some may be a few days, some longer.

Ohhh I see, the new portion of the nem that split of stayed in the high light after while the rest retreated, glad to hear this info

Looks okay to me. BTAs like to put their foot deep in the rocks, and then stretch up to meet the light and flow at their discretion. If the lighting isn't good for them, they will move until they find the right spot. Hope this helps!

Amazing to hear thank u!! This is the new portion that’s remained in high light the last couple days and I’m really happy to see that!
