Hello! I was wondering if this was an acceptable position to place an anenome in to start out? I know they will move to where ever they'd like, but will it be able to move on it's own down in this little hole? Or does the foot need to be in contact with a rock for it to move?

It does have the ability to move on its own, and will find its own spot given time. To answer your other question most anemones move best when in contact with rock, but they'll figure it out.

Perfect, thank you very much. First anenome and I'm being very cautious.
