I thought it would die I lost two bubble tips now that my tank is established and I have better lighting I want another try at a bubble tip

That is true, but you also never know what might get into the water by accident.. better safe then sorry.

Well the poor thing died. I found it this morning...

Sorry to hear that.
I have lost a few in the past as well and know the feeling to lose one..... I hope the next one does fantastic and brings you many years of joy.

just binned mine (dont want it nuking my tank if it died)..it was upside down all done and couldn't latch on to substrate
