OK
Ill put the nems in first, and just feed for a few months to establish the tank
Huh? I keep a RBTA in a 29 gallon and it's more than enough space.
I have a 29 gallon tank. I have a RBTA in it that has been in it since the tank was less than a month old. It has the anemone and 2 clownfish.
It's more than happy and spreads about 12 inches across during the dat.
Please stop giving people bad advice.

He said it's too small for a clown harem tank

What are you talking about? The discussion has nothing to do with anemones. It's the clownfish harem that the tank is TOO SMALL for.![]()
It would only be a matter of bioload. My 2 clownfish won't even move 3 inches away from the nem they are hosted by for food, with 1 exception. The rest of the tank goes unused.
The 1 exception is if I put my arm in the tank. Then they attack me.![]()

It's about territory and agression
You have to make a good amount of food for everyone, places for fish to escape, and enough anemones for everyone
A 24" cube is about 44 gallons right?
I have clownfish hosted by anemones and they NEVER leave the anemone. The main concern would be bioload, not swimming space.
You are missing the point, a paired up set of clownfish will kill off the rest of the other clownfish in a tank if there is not enough room. Go drop another clownfish in with your pair and see what happens first hand.
That would be cruel
I saw the BRS videos
There would be a medium sized nem for all
The large female would choose first
