Can i use leds to support the lighting needs of anenomies?

My anemone seems to think you can. You just have to remember that not all LED's are created equal. The fixture has to be able to support more light demanding inhabitants.

Hey im running 2600 led light for my 75 gallon tank will this be enought for a purple tip anenomie

I have a large green carpet ( Stichodactyla haddoni ) sitting in the substrate under a Chinese LED (eShine 48 X 3W). But, as Krista said, they are not all equal. There are a number of LED's that are advertised as "reef capable", and I think that term is open for a lot of interpretation. I'm not familiar with the 2600 LED.

Ok thank this is my first reef tank wen i get home ill upload some pictures but i still have alot to learn about this addicting hobbie
 
I am not familiar with that fixture. I would need more specs about it to say whether or not it can.
 
My anenome does great under my ai sol blues. They are about 8 inches above my 90 gallon and the nem is at the bottom
