OK thanks for the response first one I had and his tips hardly move now don't want to loose him.

They do rely on water flow so make sure you have some. Not enough to blow him around of course but his tentacles should have some movement. Of course he will fill up like a balloon and try and float somewhere else if he doesn’t like his spot. This is normal.

Welcome to reef2reef !!
Can we get a full tank shot ?

Seem to be getting a lot of algie on the rocks and glass daily any suggestions.

Thanks

What you have is a LTA, M. doreensis. This species is easier to keep than most of the host sea anemone. He need bright light but not ultra bright like Gigantea or Magnifica. LTA also need low water movement, but good clean water, stable. The one think this anemone need that I don't see in your tank is a deep sand bed, need to be at least 3-4 inches. Without this, even if everything else are perfect, he will move around and create havoc in your tank. Killing coral, and eventually walk into one of the PH or overflow. Try to get him a localized sand bed in a container and you should be able to keep him happy.
Good luck

It sounds like your system hasn’t caught up yet in its bio load. Slow down on adding more livestock to your tank. Learn to control the nutrients and let your system balance things out. Learn about water parameters and controls. If you need to change how you manage the nutrients then do it slowly and not via a quick solution.
