I picked up a bubble tip anemone at the LFS last weekend. It looked great for days and then it went for a walk and now is hidden behind my rockwork in a relatively dark area. I can barely see it if I lean around the side of the tank.

Picture from before the move.

Since this is my first anemone and the tank isn't that old (more bad advice from the LFS  I need to start double checking their advice BEFORE I spend money) any suggestions on how to get it back out so I can keep an eye on it?

Assuming your parameters are within reason and the lighting is sufficient that anemone is going to wander around the tank until it finds a suitable spot. Fiddling with it is probably not a good idea right now. Just give it a few days and see where it winds up.

anemone's are like fish they go where they want, you can try to change your aquascape if your not happy with his placement

Nice bubble tips on that one! You mentioned it being kind of dark where it's currently at so I think it'll move on its own when ready. Light is king with these buggers.

Thanks for all the advice. I guess I have a small project for the weekend - cover the powerheads.
