Hey guys, I have a quick concern. My now month old baby rbta (he's literally about the size of a quarter)moves around a little bit every day. He has a "zone" of a radius of an inch or two on my top "shelf" of rock and moves fractions of an inch every day or so inside that zone(as in maybe a cm or two to the left one day, then four cm right the next so he doesn't leave the area). Is this a sign of stress and should I be immediately concerned?

He is reactive during amino dosing & coral feeding (he's too small to feed mysis-but he opens for aminos and reef roids), is open during the photoperiod, and has good coloration with no signs of loss thus far. My levels don't fluctuate and are pretty stable at <5 ppm nitrate, 1.027-1.028 sg, 480 ppm ca, 9 dkh alk, 1400 mag (weekly 20 percent water changes). One thing that does concern me is that the tank he is in is located in my office- so the building lighting timing in our zone can be variable due to persons activating the motion controlled lighting past 7 pm or so (my light is on a timer for 12 hours a day, ending at 6 pm). Could this be the trigger and should I get a cover for my tank to block out light not generated from my leds? Thanks!

Try dropping your salinity to 1.025 or 1.026 and see if he settles any better.
