Hello!
So my tank has been set up for over a year and the anemone has been in there for 6+ months. He has always been in the same place and always looked great but this morning I woke up and checked the tank and he was on the move. He was still inflated and looked ok but I’ve never seen him move. Didn’t know if there was anything I should worry about or just let him do his thing?
Also i got the anemone from a friend and I’m not sure exactly what kind it is if someone knows!
Thanks in advance for any advice!

Current parameters and lighting being used?

Nems will move around as they will, they usually will settle in a space that is Ideal for them, a rock with a hole so they hide at night... if they move around, they are usually looking for food, or a better place to attach. they will most likely move around at night, but I have seen mine move during the day, but that is because I have over 20 of them in tank.

Yes I knew they would move I had a smaller anemone that could never get right but it’s just odd because he has always been in the same spot and nothing has changed.. water parameters and feeding schedule has been the same just seemed strange that he would randomly move over night

Looks like maybe a long tentacle? I had one for over a year that stayed put for that entire time. Then one day it started moving. It did that for 2 weeks before I finally got fed up and took it to the LFS. Bubble tips in the same tank did not move
Looks like he is slowly moving back hopefully he will go back to the original spot
