I think 12 hours is too little time for there to be any significant change either way.

I truly feel you need to return the anemone or give it to another hobbiest with a stable tank. 5 gallons is too small to keep stable easily for someone without experience and your parameters are way off. Also a healthy BTA will get to big for a 5 gsllon tank over time. Your anemone is going down hill due your tank not being stable, nor established, to the high Alk, low salinity and lack of light. I will be very surprised if it survives, but trully hope I am wrong!

It's good you upgraded to 20 gallons. That just added to the stability issue. 11 DKH is still to high! Good luck!

Your parameters are still going to be unstable, especially with a transfer to a new tank. When you test you are merely seeing a brief snapshot of conditions at any given time. They fluctuate, especially in new tanks. Anemones thrive in stable conditions and it's extremely difficult for new tanks to achieve that. I would also return the anemone and wait about 8-12 months before getting another.
