This anemone used to reside way back in the small slit in the rock and occasionally poked out a little but not much (Top photos). Then as of today, it’s foot is attached to the outside of the rock and it’s hanging down (bottom photos). It took food and closed up. So I’m not sure anything is physically wrong with it but was wondering if this meant anything. Don’t want it to float off and sting other corals.

The clowns are still not interacting with it. I put a picture up of other clowns and anemones as suggested here. I also try to drive them toward it in hopes they might touch it and get excited, to no avail. Not pushing it hard to occur but fingers crossed!

It is just not looking good. They do move around a lot until they finally find the spot they prefer. Mine moved through more than a half a dozen spots till it finally found it's spot. Still not convinced it won't move again. Clowns can take a long while to host, sometimes never. Two of my three have shown varying levels of interest depending on where it settles. Of all the spots there have been only two that seemed satisfactory to the clowns to host at least 1/5 of the time. They will or won't figure it out. I'd be more worried about the health of the nem though at this point. Curious, how long has the tank been up and running?

Thanks for the info. Tank has been up for a year. Parameters all look good. All other corals and fish are doing great. The nem is new. A month old. It has moved twice but generally in the same area fortunately. It moved back into its cave hideout over night.

Well, should be ok then. Just give it some time and let it find its happy place. Keep us posted.
