Hello All,

Our BTA is on the move. It's been in one place for several months. Unfortunately it's towards the back of the tank.

The last time it moved like this it split.

Any suggestions on how to guide it to a better part of the tank?

Thanks for the advice. Will try these options and let you all know if they work!

You may want to get a Harlequin Shrimp to get rid off all those little starfishes.

Re Asterina stars:

Thanks for the suggestion. We do have a harlequin shrimp. He's been in the system for a few months. We were initially concerned about what he would eat when the Asterina are gone. Now we are wondering if we need a second one. The first doesn't seem to be doing much.

It's always an adventure. :)

I added one about two weeks ago and have seen significant decrease in the amount of starfish in my tank. I was told to buy a chocolate starfish and pull a tentacle off and use that to feed the shrimp after the white starfishes are gone. The tentacles grow back on the chocolate starfish. I am going to keep him in my sump. My wife thinks that is mean to do though.

Well, here's an update. It looks like it may be preparing to split!
