Hi Everyone,
I have a 120 gallon setup (for about 4 years now) and i recently purchased a green bubble tip anemone. Tank is a mixed reef with the only parameters with swings are calcium and alk (usually between 7-9). other than that, nothing changes (amm is 0, nitrates (ites) 0, temp 78, salinity is stable at 1.026).
prior to me purchasing the anemone, i converted my existing 6 bulb T5 fixture with 2 Ocean Revive T247s (about 2 weeks ago). i have been slowly acclimating the corals to the new lights and increasing the intensity about 10 units per week). about a week after the light switch, i bought the anemone. it was on the floor of the tank for the first two days, but has made its way up the tank and is now hanging out in my overflow. should i be concerned or let it do its thing? its not really harming anything by being back there, but its def not as bright. any reason why it would relocate back to the overfill area?
