So my sebae was doing great but all of aa sudden it began looking different. It appears like some of the tentacles are withering away. My tank is about 8 months old. I have had the anemone for about 4 months. It is firmly attached and i fed it 3 days ago.

Did a water test and all params are good. I pland to do a water change in the morning... im due.

Thoughts?

How long has it been like that ?

Sometimes tentacle loss is due to high of a flow
What are your parameters ?

Am 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 0
Po 0
Calcium 375
DKH 9
PH 8.2
Sal 1.025

How much and what are you feeding?
Lights?

Has it always laid low in sand like that, how big was it when you got it?

Sebae covers 2 very different species of anemone, H. crispa, and H. malu which it may be a malu just going off that one pic and it's size and posture.
Malu are much smaller than crispa

Its a malu.... it was in a spot less than 4 inches from its current location. Prior to that it was in its spot for over a month. I fed it a small piece of raw shrimp 3 days ago

Nothing in the tank irritating it live stock wise? Just asking I don’t deal with these nems so following along.

Keep in mind malu are less light needy, not sure if that's an issue or not.
Skip feeding for a bit and see how it responds.
Any clowns for it?

I do have a large colony of palys right next to it... but other than that not really

unfortunately i lost my clowns... however they never hosted the nem

Just my opinion...i think you should raise nitrate and phos...a little and see how it responds.

They do benefit from hosting clowns, feeding, grooming, even fish waste filtered.
Clarki are natural to malu but you're not limited to that.
Will ocellaris be hosted by a malu?
