Hi everyone, I have 4 RBTAs. As long as I've had them they've swollen out really big (see picture, the 2nd is in a prior scape about 6-8 months ago before my only split). I've tried to play around somewhat with flow and to get more light but it hasn't seemed to impact whether they stay 'large' or go back to what seems to be normal size.

So my question is: is there anything I can do to get them to shrink down to a normal size? To be honest they're prettier that way and the color is stronger. My guess was that they're not getting enough flow or light so recently I've put them about as high up in the tank as possible right next to the return and it hasn't seemed to change.

I'm going to be doing some re-scaping soon so if you have any ideas it would be much appreciated! It doesn't seem to be a animal-health issue, more of an aesthetics one.

I don't believe there's much you can do in regards to getting them to shrink, as long as they are healthy they are going to get as big as they want.
