Anemone(pest or not?)

Hi! I was wondering if anyone can identify this anemone? I found a whole bunch of these in my bio wheel filter but they aren't in the tank. About 20 or so are in there. Thanks!

Not sure, does not look quite like an apitasia and they must be non-photosynthetic as you found them in a cryptic area. Very interesting but I have no answer.

I went to the Chicago Aquatic Experience & was able to ask around. They seemed to be pretty sure it's aiptasia. Hopefully I can exterminate these guys before they take over. Thanks for looking!

I'm no expert but it really doesn't look like aiptasia , kinda cool looking as well

I agree it's probably not a species of aiptasia, but it's probably still a pest anemone as it's already populating rapidly.

They reminded me a little of bubble tip anemones, so I was hesitant to do anything. Thank you guys so much!
