I have a bubble tape anemone that is leaking a white substance from the side of its mantle.
From what I can tell it could possibly be spawning but did not think it came from the side of it.
What are your thoughts?
(bought this from Petco, it was in rough shape and starting to get better)

They don’t spawn - they split. It may be expelling zooxanthellae which is their energy source and provides Cole. Would be due to insufficient or too much light.
Moderate light and water flow is favorable and feed mysis shrimp 2-3x per week

The above post is incorrect, they most certainly can spawn, and do often in the wild. Though it's incredibly rare in captivity, it has happened.
That you are describing is not spawning, for one, you need to have at least 2 anemones from different mothers.

Sounds more like it has a tear in its mouth/foot

I’ve had a spawning event once , and all my anemones reacted there was white stuff everywhere lol I have found two babies
