What does this mean?
This is a few day progression. Normal behavior?

Tank is about 4 months old. It has been in the tank for a month with the clown. The temp dropped to 74.6 a few days ago. But once the temp went back up it looked normal. Except some of the tentacles weren’t filling out. This is what it looks like right now, so about 3 hours from the above picture.

Looks like it's struggling but doing okay. It is common for anemones to inflate/deflate daily, but if one never inflates, that's usually a bad sign.

With the tank being so new, I would keep a sharp eye on parameter swings that could further stress out the anemone.

Relax, they do some really funky things.
Most of the time it’s nems being nems.
I would not even start to be concerned unless mine stayed shrunk more than a week.

That being said, they love light, flow and stability.......

The anemone looks to me like it is getting sick. Most likely due to the tank still being somewhat "new" it's not unlikely there is still some parameter swings going on that the nem may not be able to handle. I would look into ordering in some cipro to have on hand in case it starts to lose anymore tentacles.

Light and flow! That’s what I thought but it moves every time I put it in the light or even a little flow. That’s actually how I got it to move last time was directed a little more flow toward it. Maybe the 5th time will be the charm, I think it needs a bit more light and less shade. Where would I get cop

Just an update, it rebounded nicely then yesterday it decided to go walk about. It ended up at the very top of the rock work on the backside. The clown fish is very unhappy with the new location and I think thinking about a divorce.

It’s still up there at the top, I’ve started dosing iodine, 8 drops a day. It seems happy but cramped between rock and the back of the tank, Dolly the clown fish is still not very happy about this location, I think.
