Hi everyone. I have 2 (what looks like rainbow bubble tips) I purchased 3 weeks ago. Both looked good for the first few weeks. I had a situation with one a and a hermit crab a few days back (I posted on here to get advice) and now there's a substantial difference between the two of them in terms of size. Hopefully you can see in the image below although Venom (my black clown) loves to bust my chops whenever I get close to the tank lol.

Should I be worried about what seems to be a lack of growth for the nem at the top?

I wouldn't worry too much. My nem is moody and contracts and expands at will. Keep parameters and lights consistent. The one on top may be in a higher flow area.

The one atop is not happy with the water, whether it be the parameters, being pestered by the clowns...but is void of water in the tentacles, which are deflated for some reason.

The bottom appears pretty happy but does not appear to be a Rainbow BTA in the pic from what I can see. Do you have pics of either when they were saturated completely with water drawn in and in different lighting, please?

A couple more pics to look at
All you can do is keep your parameters in order and let them do their thing. The more hands on you get the worse it is for them.
I'm not touching them at all. Letting them do their thing...

It is! Right under my wavemaker!

I can't tell much on the upper one, but it does not look happy. Can you get a better photo of it?
The lower looks somewhat bleaches, with very little color.

Are these better?

I don't. I can try to take some at dawn? First stage of sundown. I haven't yet figured out how to take nice pictures under the blue light with this phone

How long has the upper looked like that? Either the lower is not a rainbow or it is partly bleached.
What are your parameters and lighting. It also looks like your tank was recently set up. How old it is?
Approximately 1 week.

Tanks is now almost 3 months old. I know it was early for the men's to be put in, but I was offered an amazing deal ($35 each) and they bother have the same coloration.

My lighting is the standard biocube led. I have the day lights ramp up at 10:30am and down at 7pm and the Blue on at 730pm to 12 midnight

Parameters:

0.0 Nitrite
0.0 Ammonia
20-40pmm nitrate (I did a water change yesterday) will do one more in a few days
Ph - 7.8-8.0

A few issues ....
1) it’s way too soon for a anemone to be happy .
the parameters fluctuate too much at that stage .
2) the lighting is possibly below par and insufficient for anemones
I have a smaller older tank with a Mantis (N. Wennerae) a few turbo snails and a couple of hermit. Might it be worthwhile to try moving one or both of the men's there?

Or, do you have any suggestions to try to fix the issues?

Work on stability .....
the clowns could be buffeting it too hard stressing it out too . Bigger clowns can be aggressive on smaller anemones

This is under the ramp down. A little later than I intended to take them but got busy.
