Anemone Questions pleasee!

ok so about 2 days ago i bought a large long tentacle anemone for a very good price! and i set it in my tank in a general area after acclimating and when i woke up it was in the place like pictured below! my question is it supposed to be like this! in the last picture it looks like its pressed up against that rock and i didnt know if it would be hurting it up against that rock like that! should i move it let it go or what?? thankyouu

I would give it a chance to attach/foot. You have to be very careful though a moving anemone can make it's way into power heads, over flows and heaters and other tank residents. If you have to, create a depression in the sand in an area of low flow and place the anemone there, you can put a strawberry basket over the anemone, you can can also take large diamter PVC pipe cut into a short piece and place the base of the anemone in that. Anemones move around. It should find a place that it likes and attach itself.
I have had them move all over the tank till it found it's sweet spot (and it's usually not where I want them). I would make sure that if you have power heads or pumps in the tank that you cover up the intakes with a sponger or pre-filter until it finds its happy place.
