It seems my long tentacle anemone has out grown my 65g tank. Alot of my corals have grown into the rock work so its difficult for me to rearrange things and the anemone is stingy alot of them...Does anyone have any recommendations on how to safely remove the anemone without hurting it, my friend with a 150g tank is taking it and will the loss of the anemone affect my clowns that have been hosting it for the last 2 years...thanks for any advice..

Ice cubes work well, just have plenty. Don't force it, just let the ice do the work for you.

I removed one of my nems today. I used ice cubes...it took an hour but I took it slow and eventually it let go completely.
Be patient and take it very slow.

Ice on the foot as mentioned. If you can't get to the foot, it becomes very difficult. If you can remove the rock it's attached to, hang it upside down just out of the water. It will eventually let go. Or cut the rock around it and leave it attached.

Hopefully you don't have to tear your tank apart to get it out...don't ask me how I know!
