About a week ago I got my first anemone, a RBT. It seems to be doing fine, but this morning I noticed something unexpected in its tentacles - the molted shell of my fire shrimp! I sporadically monitored the anemone over the next few hours and saw that it continually held onto the shell, until at one point the shell was suddenly gone!
Could the anemone have eaten the molted shell? I though they were more into meaty foods . . .
