Is there anything I could do to make my anemone healthy it keeps retracting in the day time it has been doing this before my water change 2 weeks ago

Today my DKH 10.1 at 2PM

Do I need to do another water change '

It was bigger at the time I did my water change 2 weeks ago with instant ocean at 1.015 to 1.025 at Red sea Mix

its a 30 gallon and had a 15 percent water change using a 5 gallon tank to mix the new water

Do i need to repeat this water change this week and do it weekly to prevent this anemone to look like this

Thank you

Sorry for my spam its been weeks since I posted

You changed your salinity that much in one go? They need really stable parameters and that much of a switch would really tick it off if not straight up kill it. Best bet is to leave it be if levels are good phosphate around .1 and nitrates around 15 is what I shoot for. Keep salinity stable at 1.025-1.026 also don’t let it go outside those lines too fast.

No what I meant was I did a water change 2 weeks ago and just did the same salinity setting for the mix as the actual aquarium with a combination of instant ocean and red sea in the five gallon container for the water change

you probably misunderstood me

initially in the mix of new water the salinity was 1.015 with instant ocean and then mixed it with the red sea to the exact same as the aquarium

How old is this tank, what lighting and what are the rest of your parameters?

1.024 salinity and the lighting is 90 percent blue and 40 percent white
What lights are they, how old is the tank? Salinity should be 1.026 and what are the rest of your parameters?

If you don’t know what this means you need to take the anemone back to the lfs and research a lot more. Not trying to be rude but they are sensitive creatures and need experienced care.

There is one question getting asked over and over for a good reason
Can i ask how old you tank is
