I just had a anemone split and it's the first time I've had one split! It just happened 3 days ago and I was wondering can I move one to another tank and what's the easiest way to remove them from the rock because I've used powerheads before to get them moved is this the best way to move them

As long as the intended tank for transfer is stable and mature it should be fine. Depending on close or different the parameters are between each tank, you may want to acclimate. Detaching depends on the NEM, i've had some get irritated from excessive flow and scoot right off the rock work, others just wouldn't budge no matter how hard I tried. Whatever you do, don't force it. Tear the foot and they're donzo. o_O

Depends on the anemone, some anemone's have less of a grip on the rock than others. If it's a bubble tip, it would probably best to just move it with the rock that it is on, they usually attach to rocks pretty well, and trying to force it off will just damage the foot and kill it. As a last resort if it is a large sized rock, i usually take the rock out and take a screwdriver and hammer to the surrounding rock to carefully chisel the piece of rock it is on out. As far as transferring it to another tank, yes you can transfer it as long as the tank it is going to is an adequate home, with proper water parameters and lighting.
