Anemone Splitting

How many of you have had an anemone split? My green BTA just did a couple nights ago so now I have two! Does it typically happen at one size or can it vary drastically? Mine split when it had about a foot in diameter.

no one knows why they split.. its really just random.

I have eight or so BTA. I’ve had the original for about 25 years. I’ve given away multiple babies. The original was from a friend who kept them under normal output fluorescent bulbs way back when. Mine almost always divide when stressed. The latest being a dino outbreak.

Thats interesting they split under stress. The only possible stresser that could have happened with mine is I added about 10ml more of calcium than usual (to get air bubbles out of my dosing line so the number probably isnt accurate)
