Hi Folks,
My BBT Rainbow is about 8 mo in my tank. In the past month it has split twice, and it seems to be splitting again.
All my parameters seem to be as normal. My corals (hammers, monties, duncans, zoas) are open.
Mixed feeling here if I should be happy my anemones are multiplying or worried. Anyone has experienced this sudden anemone reporductions? rsrs
Cheers.

Hi!< Join the club!! Mine have also split the past 2 months, so now I have 4 Rainbows and my daughter's have split too so she has 3. It's common when conditions are such that they are happy with their environment.

My understanding was that if they split once in a while it's normal, but that if they keep splitting that they're NOT happy. That it's like a survival instinct where they think they may die.

I have 8 on my 40g that splitted multiple times. I may sell or give away a few of them. I don't feed them directly but they catch the floating food while I feed the fishes.
