I just noticed a wound on one of my germain blennies, it seems to be a patch of missing skin and exposed flesh, bordered by black mould. I also have some large Isanemonia anemones in the tank, and I think it's possible that they might've stung the blenny. Does the wound in the photos appear consistent with an anemone sting? Sorry for the quality of the image, turns out the glass is in need of a clean.

That's a bacterial infection and as you mentioned, it's probably because of the sting. Some are able to heal; some need help with antibiotics. NFG powder works the best. Kanaplex, Furan2, Sulfaplex are all good wide spectrum antibiotics. Treat for 10-14 days.

Thanks for the diagnosis, I'll get him into a hospital tank and go to see what meds my LFS has available.
