so I noticed that my anemone was stretching itself upward and was wondering if this was a sign of the lights not being bright enough. I fed reef roids yesterday and it’s been open and doing fine just started to stretch itself out more. Do I need stronger lights? I thought AI was pretty good?

I have a patch of them all together and one or two will stretch while some next to them will bubble. I gave up trying to figure them out. Nems will be nems
Yeah I guess this is just it’s thing now because a month ago or so it wouldn’t stretch out this much. I’ll just have to adopt that says, “nems will be nems” hahah

It depends on the light and the size of your tank. If you had an AI Prime on a deep tank it's probably not enough light.

An anemone stretching could very well mean it's not getting enough light, though I agree that they often do unpredictable things.

That was my initial thought but it’s only a 20 gallon (16”) so I doubt that’s the reason
