I got sick and tired of my nems splitting and walking over acros and killing the coral. I have another tank currently cycleing which I will devote to my 2 clowns and nems. Could I introduce new clowns into the mix when I move my clowns over as long as I stay with the same species?

I would obviously only buy smaller clowns in the hopes that they are male. Also if the general consensus is yes, should I have an odd/even number at the end or it?

More than one pair is usually trouble, and make sure that new tank is cycled and stable before adding nems, we usually advise 6mo min running time

Thanks for the advice. I figured I should not mess with their relationship. Luckily I started with water from my established tank. I also mixed in a few mature Marine pure speres. I haven't tested it but I'm sure it cycled very quickly. I've thrown in a few pellets to maintain the process going. It's been set up for almost 3 weeks now. Plan on doing a larger water change this weekend then finally turning on the lights.. maybe add a few snails from my other tank. I also add pods to my tank during this time since it's probably the most underated things in our tanks. I expect to add the clowns and nems in mid June. At that time half the rock in the tank would be live rock from my mature tank and half already cured/cycled pukani rock. This process seemed to work previously with me when I added nems to a very young tank.
