I am on a lot of Zoom calls for work and I have the perfect spot right behind me in my office for a smaller 20-30gal tank that could be an interesting ice breaker and a nice addition to my office.

My stocking plan for this tank is strictly anemones, a couple clowns, and a sand sifting goby.

I am eyeing the Innovative Marine Fusion 25 with a 24” AI Blade Grow. I have the blades on my primary DT and really like the spectrum and spread.
Aside from biweekly water changes and some carbon in a mesh bag in the filter chamber, are there any dosing requirements that I need to be aware of? Do I need to run a skimmer?

So you don’t have to worry to much about calcium, alkalinity, and magnesium. As they won’t be consumed as much as a sps tank.
The main thing here is water quality, you want to keep on your water changes, don’t let nitrate and phosphate get out of control.

No and you don’t need a skimmer but they do make life easier even in a nano! Also no more than 2 paired clowns! And take a look at this. https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/anemone-compatibility-spreadsheet.254141/
Yeah I don’t plan to have more than two clowns. Thanks for that spreadsheet! This is likely going to be a dedicated tank for the three Rainbow BTAs that I already have. I started with one and now have three so I was thinking this tank would be theirs and I could finally get them out of my sump and in a happier place. It’s nice to know I could add an RFA or two for variety though.

Awesome. I use auto water changes on my main tank so this would eventually be added to that. But for the time being, I will be doing manual biweekly changes.
As far as the initial cycle though, do you think it’s acceptable to basically instacycle this tank with some rubble from my main tank? Or should I still give it some time before I add the nems to it?

the rubble would be coming from the system that I currently have some anemonies in.

You can insta cycle the tank. And add your fish. But I wouldn’t put nems in until about 4-6 months in. You want to make sure it’s as stable as possible.

Biweekly water changes yes, dosing and skimmer, no.

IM25 Lagoon, pair of clowns, pair of CSB's, biweekly water change, no dosing, no skimmer.
