I recently got a gold strip maroon clown. He immeadietly hosted with my gbta. The anemonee had been left alone up until this point. Now since he has been hosting with my gbta I notice him slightly nible at the gbta tentacles and the tentacles on the nem have shrunk slightly and he hasn't been as open and flowing as he use to be. I guess my question is this normal or is the maroon being to hard on the nem and it's ******* him off.

Clowns will nip off and mouth the end of the tentacles of anemones, no one really know why except the clowns. An anemone hosting a larger passionate clown may respond badly and infact that clown can stress the anemone to the point of death.

Man I hope my nem makes it the clown is actually smaller about an inch and a quarter only and the nem has a 4 disc when open fully I thought for sure he could handle it. Guess its a waiting game now.
