Its hard to make out but is that a single tentacle expanding up? Can you get a pic without the blues on?

I would but it's gone now floating in pieces around the tank. It looks like frayed thread. Thats what the tentecle looked like threads unraveling.

As anyone will say is stead is it goes. Your tank is so new that the slightest change in your parameter are going to show in you corals and live stock. I am 15 months in and with my changes in system filtration, lighting and still fighting No3 and Po4's I lost two older corals.
have you taken your
Ca
Mg
Alk
Po4
No3
test yet? this will help out with your question.

Most likely PH and lighting, I had a BTA that was happy for a month and the same thing happen. They are very hard to keep in a new tank.

I agree with most here except lighting. Ive kept many condi without dpecial lightimg. As long as they are fed.

And you sure this was a tentacle and not him excreting waste? Would be stringy coming out of him....

So that's not a tentacle, that's expelled waste. I freaked out the first time I saw that from mine.

OK!! :D
Wow I have only feed 2 times. Was not expecting that, must have liked the brine. Although I may switch up, I have heard brine has no nutrition value, but I will have to do more research.

That also makes sense cause this purple slug thing I have not been able to ID yet came out and ate the piece of it that got tangled on my Frog Spawn.

Yea use frozen salad shrimp 1/3. If you do that two things first de thaw, and secondly make sure it has 0 preservatives the ingredients list should read shrimp and that's it. Some of the one that are cooked in salt or have other preservatives can be harmful.
