Hi, I have a 92 gallon display red sea 450.
I believe mine are gigantea they have some spots on the bottom that indicate that. (had them for 2 + years) There is a lot of anecdotal evidence about keeping them that I find are not true for my specimens.
Live Aquaria indicates high lighting for haddoni as well. (

Like with anything personal preference. Flow does not bother them either. I have 2 powerheads above them that draws in alot of current. ( just dont blast them directly obviousily)
These guys prefer the corner of the tank so much the green / yellow one covers up the other I try to keep a rock or something between them. Blowing powerhead on them they don't really care to move or get mad at the flow . The RBTA's I have seem to me as well to like to plant their foot in a corner or something with perpendicular angles. Have not seen a preference for sand. Slowing getting all the sand out of my tank ( nuisance algae seems to love it ) .
This is all of course my personal experience (opinions) from keeping them. I think the #1 rule is to find a great specimen to start with just dont go order one because of the name.
Let me know if you have any questions. They seem to like acro power as well and expand a bit more ( i heard julian sprung mention this as well )
