Anemone Was sold as one type but I was told by a friend it might be a different type so just trying to see what kind y’all think it is ... please let me know what you think and care tips for that type

I think its a condy anemone. If so, they should be fed (any fish food is fine). They can sting corals and fish so just keep that in mind.
 
first look torch too
 
I’d say purple condy. They do look like a torch in a way. But I see no skeleton and it looks like it moved in the pic from the rock to the sand.
 
The thickness of the tenticles and the dot at the tip makes is a condy and not a torch. Theres also not stoney base unless you buried it. I've seen dozens of these things
