I think this is subjective, and everyone's experience will differ. I have an LPS/Anemone tank in which the anemone hasn't bothered a single coral in the months and months it's been in there.I remember old times when they recommended keeping BTA in a species tank, without other corals. I didn’t listen to that but after 3-4 years decided that it’s either bubble tip tank or coral tank. I choose coral and sold my BTA.
Yes, they wander around and multiply.I don’t think there’s much you can do about it.

Not sure what species actually. Here’s what he looks like when not pestered… maybe you know?what mushroom species is it please
Chances are anemone will just move around it.
I wouldn't try to change direction by adjusting flow, it will only move again if not happy.. anemone will find it's place in your aquarium![]()
Hmmm. Nothing here to do that this eve…definitely not happy, if you can take the rock out. You could try cutting it with some bone cutters or try to chisel a part of the rock where the foot is attached
Nem Canon. Check the stickies in the anemone forumHmmm. Nothing here to do that this eve…
I’ll have another go at tickling him off and moving the rock well away. Mushrooms look like their insides are out. Is there a way back? Think I’ve seen something similar when they eat too much so hoping so
Mushrooms are pretty tough. If you get the anemone to move away from it, it will probably recover. Sometimes pointing a powerhead at an anemone can encourage it to move. This isn’t a good sign eh. Anyone with mushroom experience know if this is the end or recoverable? Tried to get the beast off but he’s stuck like glue
Thats reassuring to hear. Thank youMushrooms are pretty tough. If you get the anemone to move away from it, it will probably recover. Sometimes pointing a powerhead at an anemone can encourage it to move.
Showing the guts/mesenterial filaments like that is usually a defense reaction to stress. They contain stinging cells to fight back against whatever is irritating them. If you remove the irritant, it will likely get better.
