Anemone

I am thinking about getting a rose bubble tip anemone for my tank. I have one torch coral and I would like to know if the anemone would sting it. My torch is placed in the sand bed in the lower right corner of my tank. I would like to know how much flow an anemone should be getting and how to protect my power head (Sicce voyager nano 1000) from shredding the anemone into pieces. Any information would be useful!

that’s a depends; hopefully a more anemone knowledgeable person chimes in but bubble tips do move some ( until settled) and in any event is the torch moveable? BTW torches sting also

I don't have a BTA but i do have a LTA and it once decided that it wanted to sit next to the tourch garden. It was touching one of the torches a little but the torch wasn't really bothered.
It will be perfectly fine to have a anenome.

I have that sa e powerhead. My anenomes got sucked into it acually. But I would recommend maybe taking some filter floss and wrapping it around the powehead.
If you can't find a 3d printed gaurd for the powerhead.

How big is the tank?
I would say yes if it's a bit bigger of a tank.
Jf you are going to rake it off I would just use some filter floss and glue.

I would by a small nem for a 16 gal and return it once it gets too big

You would probobly want to find something that would be more permanent then.
My anenome sits right next to my big powerhead and it has me slightly worried.

I’ll see how it goes, I’ll first put some floss on the head, if the nem likes a spot away from the head, I’ll remove the floss, if it’s close, I’ll see what I can do. And will putting floss on the head reduce its flow power?

Depends on what sort of floss you use. I wouldn't use anything that is really fine, less fine is better.
It wouldn't be very noticeable on the loss of flow.

If you can get it to stick there. Its going to move wherever it wants. So just try to get it to stick to a rock so it dosnt get sucked up.
