hello by any chance is it possible for a bulb anemone to kill a shrimp. Checked my water level there all good. Shrimp was around the anemone and five minutes later it was dead.

Today my anemone killed one of my scarlet hermit crabs any recommendations on what I can do to avoid this. After I noticed it was stretching out its arms so I feed it a krill and it ate.I just got it from a local pet store about three days ago. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

uh, just let the anemone be an anemone. They don't move around actively hunting or anything, but sometimes when something gets to close it can get stung.

Hi will eat your shrimps and fish. That what he does for living.

never glue an anemone. lol, not cool. scarlets and red legged hermits are a natural predator for anemones. so im sure Darwinism took int effect

Ok, so you can try to glue an anemone but it won't matter, they are mobile and it just won't work.

Personally in all my years keeping bubble tips I have never had one eat a shrimp or fish. I have around 18 in my display mixed reef. However they certainly can eat shrimp or small fish if they get to close to the anemone.
