I would not recommend getting a nem as a newbie. Try soft corals and lps first. If you can sustain their growth, acclimate them properly and care for them long term then get a nem. Nems can be difficult at times, I would recommed a slower progression to them. If you do want a nem check out the anemone subforum if you have questions. Im confident with the proper research you can keep a nem thoughI've keep the coral down because I plan to get one

Soft corals and some lps if you are a newbie. Some good easy lps include duncans, acans, brain corals, and plate corals. Zoas and palys make good beginner softies along with leather corals and mushroom corals.What do you recommend I have a go at
