Welcome To R2R ,,How old is Your tank ... anamones do a lot beter in a mature tank (1year) .. also they tend too move around a bit till they settle .. can cause problems with Your other coral

I've keep the coral down because I plan to get one

I would not recommend getting a nem as a newbie. Try soft corals and lps first. If you can sustain their growth, acclimate them properly and care for them long term then get a nem. Nems can be difficult at times, I would recommed a slower progression to them. If you do want a nem check out the anemone subforum if you have questions. Im confident with the proper research you can keep a nem though

What do you recommend I have a go at
Soft corals and some lps if you are a newbie. Some good easy lps include duncans, acans, brain corals, and plate corals. Zoas and palys make good beginner softies along with leather corals and mushroom corals.
