One of my friends had a few in his tank, he said they just popped up

Yeah it's hard to tell rn just kinda remind me of my purple mag when it first hit my tank. Pretty sweet if they were hithchikers.

I think it’s a Rhodactis (mushroom) not a sea anemone.

Really? Because when I put it in my tank I treated it the same as an anem and it latched to a rock as soon as I set it down

Yes, Rhodactis just latch on. They can also move around and usually spread quite rapidly.

It is a beautiful great score in my books. I agree with favors both but I lean toward the ole hairy mushroom thingy.

Totally forgot about hairy mushrooms lol. I went in with the mindset it was an anemone haha. Only time will tell.

Mushies do have a foot...but the tents dont look quite right to me...
